The property

It was at the beginning of the 20th century that the history of the Maison de Champagne Taittinger began. Led by Pierre-Emmanuel Taittinger and his two children, Clovis and Vitalie, Maison Taittinger has retained a family soul by producing champagnes resolutely focused on a Chardonnay style. Since January 1, 2020, Vitalie Taittinger has been President of the Maison de Champagne Taittinger.

The vineyard

The Maison de Champagne Taittinger vineyard covers 288 hectares of vines and includes 37 different vintages. Taittinger is thus the third largest vineyard in Champagne. The entire vineyard is certified in High Environmental Value.

Vinification and aging

Taittinger's Brut Réserve has been aged for at least 3 years in the cellar in order to perfect the maturity of its aromas, before being put on the market.

Assembly

Taittinger's Brut Réserve is a Champagne wine made from a blend of 40% Chardonnay and 60% Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier; from more than 35 different vintages spread over several harvests.

Taittinger's Brut Réserve presents a brilliant golden straw-yellow color, offering fine bubbles and a discreet and persistent foam.

Nose
The nose reveals fruity and brioche aromas. It develops fragrances of peaches and white flowers combined with hints of vanilla bean.

Mouth
Harmonious on the palate, the wine is delicate, revealing tasty fruity and honeyed touches.
