Mouton Cadet – AOC Bordeaux vin Rouge Mouton Cadet 75cl

Mouton Cadet was created in 1930 on a decision of Baron Philippe de Rothschild, who wanted to make part of its production more accessible. He therefore downgraded part of the red wine produced by Château Mouton Rothschild.

The Merlot brings roundness and aromas of very ripe red fruits. Cabernet Sauvignon brings the tannic structure and notes of small black fruits. Cabernet Franc gives elegance and freshness.

Tasting note:

Color: Intense purple with light carmine reflections.

Nose: The nose opens with an explosion of fruit, notably wild strawberries, burlat cherries, blueberries and blackcurrants. The fruit is still present after aeration and is adorned with additional notes of sweet spices.

Palate: The attack is supple and balanced. We quickly find the fruits present on the nose, accompanied by silky, deep and dense tannins which structure the mid-palate. The finish is remarkable for its richness and reveals a slight sweetness, a little extra that concludes this wine in the most beautiful way.
