Johnnie Walker is the world’s biggest-selling brand of blended Scotch whisky. Established in the mid-19th Century, Johnnie Walker has a long distilling history and today is sold in a majority of countries around the world.

The standard flagship whisky of the portfolio is the Red Label. It is intended for mixing rather than consuming neat and has no age statement on the label. Compartively, the Black Label is aged for 12 years and is widely regarded as a standard bearer for the blended category.

Other whiskies in the collection include the Johnnie Walker King George V which is produced as a memento to the monarch who granted the first Royal Warrant to the brand in 1934. Depending on the label of Johnnie Walker produced, up to 35 to 40 different malts and grains can contribute to the blend.
